Well, as you can see, today we got 6 inches of snow last night. This is 2 inches more than the average yearly snowfall for this area. So, since snow plows can't get up the hill to our street, neither can the UPS guy who is supposed to bring our school books today. And we were snowed in! Snow day for Evan, I think not :) We will improvise!
Although we did have some fun outside in the snow, we managed to find time for some learning. Evan was able to finish his Gary Paulson Book, "Brian's Hunt" and will write a 1 page essay on it tomorrow. Also, as a Tech project, and a way to get us back in shape, Evan and Doug began the assembly of our home gym! This project consists of organizing and assembling over 200 parts, reading and understanding work instructions in a 90 page instruction booklet as well as a lesson on working as a team.
Made it to step 7 and discovered we are missing a couple of critical parts...project on hold until we can get the parts ordered and delivered :(
