This is what we accomplished:
Math-Lesson 28. Achieved 90% Took Quiz 3 and achieved a score of 96% ! Great Job!
History- Began a chapter on WW1 and Communism. Discovered that we strongly dislike our new History Curriculum and will be putting it for sale on EBay tonight. Shopping as we speak for a new History Curriculum. UGH! In the mean time, we will be studying history on our own using some books I have left over from when my three older kids used them.
Spelling / Vocab - Took practice quiz orally, missed several words. Wrote them 10 x each. Reviewed Rule.
Grammar- Finished up Unit 3 on Capitalization. Evan took the final test and missed a few resulting in a grade of 74%. The test had a few trick questions that he actually knew the answers to, but did fall short on a couple of capitalization rules. He missed two questions in regard to the rule that says that you DO NOT capitalize a common noun which follows a brand name. Eg. Dell computers and Folder's coffee. He also missed one problem that used the numeral 2 instead of writing the word two out. All in all, he did well and has a good general knowledge of the rules of capitalization.

Independent Reading- "Brian's Return" Chapters 15 and 16
