Chattanooga Zoo!!
Evan and I spent the afternoon at the Chattanooga zoo. The temperature made it up to 53 *, but to the people down here, it was chilly, so we had the entire zoo to ourselves, yay! You can't really compare it to the Indianapolis zoo, but it was nice, just much, much smaller. We were up close and personal with most of the animals and the Chimpanzee's, especially, gave us quite a show. They were definitely my personal favorite, I think I could watch them for hours. Evan gravitated toward the cats. The cougars, the jaguars, the bobcats, serval, and the leopards. Evan’s assignment when we got home was to write a paper about his favorite animal, he chose the Leopard. (see below pics for excerpt)
It was a really nice day and we will definitely go back to the Chattanooga Zoo again!
"A leopard is a big strong animal that is very bold and has a lot of talent. In all of those ways I am the same way and the leopard also is a leader. I'm a leader 2."
